GIFT WRAP #5: JAPANESE WASHI TAPE

Japanese tape is so versatile; I keep a stash on my crafting table for the last-minute decoration.  And it is perfect for quickly decorating any gift!  It’s quick, easy, and inexpensive (the tape lasts for a long time).

Japanese tape is perfect for hiding an ugly wrapping job (it happens!).  With this gift, I just added some used vintage stamps for a little flourish and it’s ready to go.

I essentially made my own wrapping paper by lining strips of tape together, and I quite like the way it turned out!

And with a simple gift tag as the centerpiece, adding some decorative tape provides the perfect accent!

Oh I love washi tape. I used it to decorate vases for our wedding. I had so much left over that I used it to hang pictures in our apartment so we wouldn’t have to put any extra holes in the walls.
