ARTSY LIVING: BALLOON WISHES
Last week, a very good friend of mine celebrated her 24th birthday. She doesn’t often celebrate her birthday (last year, she made a trip to the dentist and had a tooth extraction), but this year, I decided to surprise her, because her being in this world was certainly something to celebrate.
It is my belief that everyone deserves balloons on their birthdays. So I created some sincere birthday wishes to attach to twenty four balloons and delivered them to her that morning.
Some were heartfelt, some were funny, some were quirky…but all were with love :)

Absolutely, positively brilliant Lillian! Anyone receiving a thoughtful, bright, heart felt gift like that would surely feel very loved.
I completely agree that birthdays, especially considering they're only once a year, are a time to celebrate! As we get older, I feel like it's much less about "I want all the attention on this day" and more about getting your loved ones together to hang out, enjoy food, and enjoy good company.
